Easy Breadsticks

Mix together-
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 T. yeast
1 T. honey or some sweetener
1 t. salt
Let stand for 5 mins.
Then slowly add 4- 41/2 c. white flour. Knead until the dough is soft and elastic but not sticky to the touch, but not too dry.
Then shape into sticks, place on greased cookie sheet. Brush on butter and sprinkle on seasonings- parmesan cheese, season salt, sweet basil, dill weed, or etc., use your imagination.
Cook at 400 degrees for 10- 15 mins, or until lightly brown.
This is great for a kids activity, they can make any shape they want and eat it after it bakes.

Mom, we made these and they were really good. It was fun to have the same breadsticks you used to make. Thanks for posting it.

We made these the other night. Much healthier then my breadstick recipe and delicious. Eric didn't recognize them as your breadsticks at first because I didn't make them into shapes.
